Duck Manure in the Garden

What a duck visit can leave behind, and why it should not be treated as a precise fertiliser service.

Ducks leave small amounts of manure as they move around. That is part of having animals forage in a garden, alongside their natural grazing and exploring.

01

It is part of normal duck behaviour

A garden visit can leave droppings on grass, paths or near water. We are clear about that before booking, so customers can decide whether the service suits their space.

02

It is not a measured fertiliser application

Duck manure contains nutrients, but a visit does not spread a controlled amount in a planned pattern. Treat it as a natural by-product of the ducks moving through the garden, not a calculated feeding plan.

03

Use sensible garden hygiene

Wash hands after working in the garden and be mindful around food-growing areas. If you have a particular food-safety, soil or plant concern, seek advice that fits your situation.
