The honest bit
Natural lawn grazing and garden foraging — not lawn mowing or pest eradication.
Ducks are animals, and their behaviour cannot be guaranteed. They may nibble plants, leave droppings, disturb loose soil, paddle in ponds, create muddy areas near water, or ignore some weeds or pests.
Local service
Manchester and nearby gardens.
We will consider suitable gardens in Manchester, Didsbury, Chorlton, Northenden, Wythenshawe, Stockport and Trafford. Availability always depends on travel, the garden check, weather and what is best for the flock.
Questions
Before you book.
How many ducks come for a Garden Visit?
Six Alford Ducks are the standard Garden Visit group.
Will the ducks remove all slugs and snails?
No. Ducks naturally forage for slugs, snails and insects, but every garden is different and a visit cannot guarantee complete pest eradication.
Is every garden suitable?
No. The garden must be securely enclosed, safe for ducks and free from recent slug pellets or harmful pesticides. We agree hazards, ponds and planting boundaries before a visit.
